About the Role :

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Big Data Architect to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of our big data solutions.
  • This role is ideal for a candidate with a deep understanding of big data technologies and a proven track record of delivering scalable and robust big data architectures.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and development of big data architectures that meet the evolving needs of the business.
Select and implement big data technologies, including but not limited to :

  • Cloudera
  • Apache Spark
  • Open-source big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Kafka, HDFS)
  • Data warehousing solutions (e.g., Hive, Redshift)
  • NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain big data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis.
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of big data platforms.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in the big data landscape.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on big data concepts and best practices.
  • Document architectural decisions and designs for future reference.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Qualifications :
years of experience in big data architecture and design.

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying big data solutions onpremises or in the cloud.
  • Indepth knowledge of distributed processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
  • Strong understanding of opensource big data technologies, including Hadoop ecosystem tools.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions (e.g., Hive, Redshift).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
