AR Caller

Responsibilities

  • Initiate telephone calls to insurance companies requesting the status of claims for the outstanding balances on patient accounts and taking appropriate actions on claims to guarantee resolution.
  • Contact insurance companies for further explanation of denials and underpayments
  • Manage A/R accounts by ensuring accurate and timely followup.
  • Understand the client requirements and specifications of the project
  • Ensure that the deliverable to the client adhere to the quality standards.
  • Document actions taken in claims billing summary notes
  • To prioritize the pending claims for calling from the aging basket to make a physical call by following the international norms and applicable rules for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Responsible for working on Denials, Rejections, LOA's to accounts, making required corrections to claims.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' work experience as an AR Caller in Revenue Cycle Management Process
  • A brief understanding of the entire Medical Billing Cycle.
  • Must possess good communication skills with a neutral accent.
  • Must be flexible and should have a positive attitude towards work.
  • Must be willing to work in Night Shifts.
