Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process for goods and services essential for upstream operations in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services required for activities such as Drilling/Workover campaigns, Offshore Platform Maintenance, and Marine operations involving upkeep of Floating Storage and Offloading Vessels
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to closure
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers and contractors to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations by all parties
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and corporate goals
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and optimize procurement processes
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement plans meet operational needs
  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services

Education and Work Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contracts and procurement management in the Oil & Gas upstream sector
  • Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, as well as procurement best practices
  • Proven negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and contractors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
