This role is crucial to the expansion and success of our company, with added responsibilities in designer curation, onboarding, social media management, coordinating website maintenance and merchandise handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry knowledge, and research.
- Curate and onboard designers to expand our product offerings and maintain a diverse portfolio.
- Handle queries efficiently and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategies for business development, including sales plans, marketing initiatives, and partnership programs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to potential clients.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable for the company.
- Manage social media activities, including Instagram posting and scheduling, to engage with our audience and promote our brand.
- Oversee merchandise management, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and product quality is upheld.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and meetings to represent the company and expand professional networks.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role.
- Experience in curating and onboarding designers is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in [specific industry].
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in managing social media platforms, especially Instagram.
- Experience in merchandise management and inventory control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Social Media Marketing is preferred. executing social media strategies, communicating with customers and clients, and optimising social media content for maximum engagement.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Priyam in Hyderabad.
