E - Retail AVP - Business Operations (Market Places)

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility:

  • Grow the Retail Media business for the agency through strategic inputs and day to day guidance to the eCommerce team

Capability development responsibilities:

  • Lead capability development and marketing initiatives for the eCommerce function
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive adoption of eCommerce services by existing clients
  • Understand and stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape and internal product development efforts
  • Drive internal projects to completion and enable team to address any challenges
  • Update agency's management on capability development, timelines and results

Performance delivery responsibilities:

  • Manage, grow and develop a team of 30+ eCommerce specialists
  • Build thorough understanding of client's business, category, product, brand, customers and competitive landscape
  • Provide strategic guidance to eCommerce team in developing strategic and tactical plans in line with client's business goals
  • Help the team to collaborate with Client Servicing managers, technology teams and platform POCs to implement and deliver on client commitments ontime and onplan
  • Drive strategic client engagements on performance strategy and, media planning; step in to manage client escalations when required.
  • Be accountable for Quarterly Business Review meeting and showcase business growth to clients.
  • Do annual planning & strategy preparation for the assigned portfolio
  • Leverage extended dentsu ecosystem to build working solutions for the client Leverage extended Dentsu ecosystem to deliver overall 'business goals for the client

Qualifications:

Who you are:

  • You should have at least 710 years of overall digital marketing experience and have worked with a startup or an agency in an operations/ account management/ engagement role.
  • You should have Hands on working knowledge for Paid and Organic Media Operations on channels like Amazon and Flipkart for at least 34 years
  • Experience of working on Quick Commerce and Social Commerce will be beneficial.
  • You have strong program management skills including demonstrated ability to think endtoend, manage longterm projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong solutioning, negotiating and pitching skills. Must be able to exert influence and drive initiatives across the organization.
  • You are exceptional at problemsolving, analytical skills and business understanding.
  • You are great at articulating your thoughts and presenting a clear welldefined structure.
  • You are a selfstarter, Love Digital Marketing and everything around it.
  • And most importantly, LOVE customers & strive for every inch of their satisfaction.
