Event Planning:
Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand event objectives, requirements, and budget.
Develop event plans, timelines, and budgets, considering logistics, venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements,
transportation, accommodations, and other relevant factors.

Vendor Management:
Identify and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for services required for the event,
such as equipment rentals, catering, audiovisual support, transportation, security, and other necessary services.
Maintain relationships with vendors and ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.

Budget Management:
Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, negotiating costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.
Prepare financial reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the event's financial status.

Team Leadership:
Build and manage a team of event staff, including coordinators, technicians, volunteers, and other support personnel.
Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and oversee their work to ensure smooth event operations.

Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate logístical elements such as event setup and breakdown, load-in and load-out schedules, equipment
needs, transportation, and accommodations for attendees, staff, and performers.
Ensure that all logistics are properly organized and executed on time.

Technical Production:
Oversee technical aspects of events, including audiovisual equipment, lighting, staging, and other technical requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams and ensure proper setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment during the event.

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, obtain necessary permits, and manage
emergency response plans to ensure the safety and security of event attendees.

On-Site Management:
Supervise on-site event operations, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth execution.

Troubleshoot issues that arise during the event, address client or attendee concerns, and make real-time decisions to resolve any problems.


Post-Event Evaluation:
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event, identify areas for improvement, and gather
feedback from stakeholders, clients, and attendees.
Prepare comprehensive reports analyzing event outcomes and provide recommendations for future events.

Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in event management and production.
Participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, and network with industry professionals to enhance expertise.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in event management, preferably in roles involving operations and production.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Budgeting and financial management skills to develop and manage event budgets.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, permits, and licensing requirements for events.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
Ability to travel, if required, for event planning and on-site management.
