Role Summary & Role Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our agile team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, with a focus on developing T-SQL and MSBI based applications and data warehouse. Proficiency in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS) and SQL Server is essential for this role.

Candidate must have 8+ years of relevant experience in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS) and SQL Server. Candidate must have hands on experience on Data warehousing concepts.

Design and create tables, views, triggers, partitions, complex stored procedures, functions, indexes, Dynamic SQL and other database objects. Import Export Data, Bulk Insert, BCP. Strong knowledge DW concepts. Performance tuning, profiling and monitoring of SQL through a variety of tools and applications with the performance tuning group and supporting the application benchmarking activities.

Design and Create SSIS packages, migrate data from different sources to various destinations and Data Warehouse, data transformations, error handling, auditing and logging package steps. Scheduling SSIS runs.

Design and create Complex reports in SSRS and use DML operations with SSRS parameter driven reports, Subscriptions, Report Caching and Snapshot History, role-based permissions handling and report deployment.

Experience in Shell scripting and Autosys scheduling. Ability to communicate with Business users, understand and Analyze requirements and Use Cases. Experience working in Agile Teams. Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to work both independently as well as within a team.

Core/Must have skills

Strong Experience complex stored procedures, functions, indexes, Dynamic SQL, Performance tuning.

Strong experience Creating complex SSIS packages with Data Flow Tasks and comnplext transfermations.

Create Complex reports in SSRS, parameter driven reports, Subscriptions, Report Caching and Snapshot Hisoty

Experience in Onshore-Offshore delivery model.

Experience in Agile model.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to have skills

Experience in Shell scripting and Autosys scheduling

Data Warehousing concepts
