De opdrachtgever is een vooraanstaand en wereldwijd opererend bedrijf op het gebied van milieudiensten met meer dan 160 jaar ervaring en inmiddels meer als 50 jaar actief in Nederland met ca. 700 medewerkers.

Voor de businessunit Papier Recycling, met vestigingen in Utrecht en Den Haag, waar het volledig recycling proces wordt geregistreerd van alle mogelijke materialen en producten, zoals papier, karton en vertrouwelijk materiaal, is momenteel de belangrijke functie van Business Controller vacant.

Wat ga je doen?
Als Business Controller ben je DE financial in de business en geef je hierbij leiding aan de afdeling Finance. Lokaal vervul je een zelfstandige rol binnen de operationele unit, waarbij je een sparringpartner en onderdeel bent van het lokale MT van de BU.

Als Business Controller werk je dus intensief samen met het lokale management van de business unit o.a. in het analyseren en rapporteren van de financiële en operationele resultaten. Je treedt hierbij op als een betrokken en kritische business partner. Je staat midden in de organisatie, bent dan ook regelmatig aanwezig op de operationele locaties en bent intensief betrokken bij beleids- en strategische beslissingen.

In deze functie rapporteer je hiërarchisch aan de General Manager van BU Papier. Tegelijkertijd werkt je nauw samen met de centrale finance organisatie in Nederland en het internationale team. Jij vertegenwoordigt hier de business unit Papier Recycling.

Vereisten

Wat zoeken we?

Voor de rol van Business Controller beschik je over:

  • een afgeronde relevante hbo opleiding, bijvoorbeeld richting Bedrijfseconomie;
  • minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring;
  • management vaardigheden;
  • sterke communicatieve vaardigheden

Vanwege de werkzaamheden met vertrouwelijk materiaal, zal er voor deze functie een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag door ons worden aangevraagd.
