We are in search of a Solution Analyst - Finance Automation Robotics / Accounting Specialist ready to support Finance in exploring innovative ways to automate financial processes and collaborating with various citizen development tools. This role will be situated in Shanghai, Singapore, or Mumbai. The individual in this position will collaborate with finance functional leaders to lead the development, testing, and design of intricate RPA solutions following best practices within the enterprise. You will collaborate across departments with business operations and analysts to enhance workflow processes. In this capacity, you will spearhead initiatives related to designing and overseeing workflow automation projects, as well as testing and resolving issues. To excel in this role, you should have experience in robotic process technologies such as Blue Prism and UI Path. Moreover, you will have multiple opportunities to engage in providing innovative digital capabilities by working with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, all aimed at accelerating Dow's digital evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for Robotics opportunities and other focus areas such as artificial intelligence by the business/functional teams.
- Drive end-to-end solutions to fulfill automation needs across multiple technology platforms: AI, Blue Prism, UiPath, Python Script.
- Collaborate with other Finance robotics analysts and review RPA solution designs based on gathered requirements.
- Develop requirements and design documentation for the long-term support of solutions.
- Work closely with business process teams, global functional teams, and stakeholders to create and implement RPA projects.
- Mentor newly trained robotics team members on best practices and development/design techniques.
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Experience or familiarity with UiPath or other robotics process technologies.
- General understanding of coding design principles and the utilization of agile development.
- Prior experience with SAP ECC/BW.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data and Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience of 7 years.
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Familiarity with other robotics technologies (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.).
- General knowledge of IT work processes, methodologies, and tools, with an eagerness to learn modern technologies like AI and other citizen development tools within the Microsoft suite (including Agile and Scrum).
- Excellent English communication skills to address technical matters with customers and effectively translate business context into technical terms.
- Previous project involvement in design and development, especially in the robotics process realm, is a bonus.
