ITOM Discovery, Service Mapping & CMDB, Orchestration & Cloud Management Consultant

Position Summary:

Candidate must have experience on tools related to Orchestration, Cloud Service Automation, Open stack, Smart cloud provisioning, private Cloud, managed cloud needs for enterprisesCandidate would be responsible for design / develop / enhance Orchestrator workflows that can be triggered from Service Catalogues and Management PortalCandidate would be responsible for development / modification / enhance interfaces between Orchestrator and other products like Active Directory, SAML, Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS, VMWare), Software Provisioning Tools (SCCM, HP Server Automation), Network/Firewall Provisioning & Management Tools (HP NA, QIP, Infoblox, Panorama), ITSM Tools (ServiceNow), Monitoring Tools & CMDB.Candidate would need to understand / validate / troubleshoot / modify (even development of small pieces) scripts/programs required to Orchestrate IT Infrastructure activitiesCandidate with experience or exposure to various operating systems (Windows/Linux/Solaris) and virtualization technologies would be preferred.

Candidate would need to understand technical service requirement and design/enhance forms for Service Offerings in Cloud AutomationCandidate would need to participate in pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products and solutions around cloud infrastructure.\ Candidate must have a proven track record in successfully designing & implementing CMDB for an enterpriseCandidate must have experience with industry leading Discovery toolsCandidate must have experience in implementing large and complex business service mapping solutionsCandidate must have knowledge about IT Infra components and properties in scope of Service MappingCandidate would need to understand the Application architecture and design the service map accordinglyCandidate would need to identify risks and issues related to Application/Infra Service Mapping needsCandidate would need to have experience with Event Management alert setup in Service MappingCandidate should have expertise in identifying functional, technical, and business requirements and provide solutions.

In addition, candidate is expected to support monitoring practice development initiatives, customer presentations / demonstrations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Design / Implementation / Support of orchestration & cloud management tools for medium to complex environmentsPerform complex / technical solution design and implementations.

Create solutions based on ITIL good practices and implementations. Maintain documentation of configured metrics and configurations. Interact with Infra / Network / Application stakeholders in determining appropriate orchestration needs. Programming and / or scripting languages exposure would be plus. Design / Implementation / Support of Discovery, Service Mapping & CMDB needs for medium to complex environments. Perform complex / technical solution design and implementationsCreate solutions based on ITIL good practices and implementations. Maintain documentation of configured metrics and configurations. Interact with Infra / Network / Application stakeholders in determining appropriate monitoring needs. Programming and / or scripting languages exposure would be plus

Experience:
  • 9 Years of industry experience with orchestration & management tools with hands
  • on experience in large implementations

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Experience on ServiceNow Orchestration & Cloud Management, Ansible, VRealize Automation etc.
Produces technical solutions/architectures that are dependable, modifiable and scalableExpertise in ServiceNow scriptingGood exposure to regular expressions and developing Service mapping patterns


ServiceNow ITOM/AIOps/Cloud Automation Solutions ConsultantsServe as primary technical point-of-contact ServiceNow ITOM for business users and internal teamsDefine technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with ECI's business problems and ServiceNow ITOM/ Automation/ CMDB implementation best practicesMaintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Products; Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, HLA, AIOps, Orchestration, Integration Hub, Cloud Management, including ServiceNow Common Service Data Model, CSDM.Co-lead requirements gathering workshops with internal business stakeholders to provide technical guidance, and assist with capturing all necessary business, functional and technical requirements necessary to design and implement the solutionCollaborate with internal business stakeholders to write/estimate storiesOversee developers' work, and own overall quality and delivery of developmentCapable of executing hands-on development for stories that cannot be delegatedResponsible for sprint demos internally, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as requiredWork collaboratively with ServiceNow team and business stakeholders to monitor for scope creep and resolve critical path technical issues and challengesProvide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practices.

ServiceNow ITOM/AIOps Consultants should have relevant experience of 4+ yearsAs a consultant focusing on ITOM development and configuration on ServiceNow platform this resource will deliver finalized ServiceNow Solutions utilizing the ServiceNow ITOM applicationsThe ITOM Technical Architect is comfortable in Json scripting and coding ITOM solutions, namely Event, Discovery, Service Mapping, AIOps and OrchestrationKnowledgeable and familiar in the ServiceNow ITOM offerings and can lead a customer through knowledge and requirements discussions for implementing and deploying ServiceNow ITOM, including the following:

Event Management, Discovery, CMDB, Orchestration, Service Mapping & IntegrationsCode and Develop customized Patterns, Probes and Sensors for Discovery and Service Mapping.

Sound knowledge in CMDB and IT Operations managementDeliver technical workshops on ITOM:
Event, Discovery, CMDB, HLA, Orchestration, Service Mapping, Cloud ManagementExpert understanding on import sets and transform maps, working with external data sources, ServiceNow data mappingKnowledge on identification, classification rule in CMDBKnowledge over event and alert ruleArticulate the ServiceNow CMDB Classes for Asset and Configuration, their relationships, and dependencies
