Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support in reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports.
  • Assist in Credit Card posting and verification.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Help in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in Business Central.
  • Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Learn to utilize Qlik for data visualization and reporting purposes.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects to enhance financial processes and efficiency.
  • Assist in financial data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the team to perform financial analysis and reporting using tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft CRM, and Qlik.
  • Support the team in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from financial data.
  • Assist in researching industry best practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Accounts Payable (AP):
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs, managing vendor relationships effectively.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP.
  • Maintain entire AP mailbox independently and answer all vendor communications.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
  • Generate and dispatch customer invoices in a timely manner from CRM and Business Central.
  • Manage change requests, credit memos, mailbox queries, and internal communications.
  • Monitor and manage incoming payments, posting them accurately to customer accounts.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions and collections efforts.
  • Maintain entire AR mailbox independently and answer all customer communications.
Banking:
  • Manage daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions and monitor cash flow.
  • Monitor and reconcile discrepancies in bank statements.
  • Do and prepare bank reconciliation reports.
Month End:
  • Assist in month-end preparation and documentations.
  • Process, save, and keep a record of all documents on the shared drive.
  • Prepare and present Balance Sheet Reconciliation to all stakeholders.
Education Background and Core Skills:
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and concepts.
  • Highly savvy in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of financial software.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced online environment.
  • Prior exposure to financial software like Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft CRM, or Qlik is a plus.
  • Internships, coursework, or projects related to finance will be advantageous.
