Accounts Payable Head Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Head oversees the Accounts Payable team, ensuring all services are provided in line with Mastek's policies and procedures.
This role involves supervising invoice processing, handling supplier inquiries, conducting reconciliations, and other duties such as creating provisions in books and generating necessary reports for management.
- Ensure accurate processing of all supplier payments within agreed timelines
- Implement and monitor Accounts Payable controls
- Manage vendor maintenance and authorization
- Organize Accounts Payable documentation efficiently
- Prepare essential monthly reports and supervise team operations
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, provide leadership, and promote staff development
- Address supplier and stakeholder queries promptly
- Collaborate with other organizational divisions for mutual benefit
While primarily focused on the above duties, the Accounts Payable Manager may be assigned additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
Academic: Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and knowledge of related issues
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable practices and procedures
- Ability to lead, manage, and provide effective services
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, discretion, and stakeholder engagement
