Key Responsibilities :

QA Program Management :

  • Lead and manage the QA program for the migration project, ensuring highquality standards.
  • Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including development, operations, and product management.

Project Leadership :

  • Oversee the QA aspects of the migration from mainframe to Java application and onpremises to cloud technologies.
  • Ensure project timelines, quality objectives, and budget requirements are met.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to quality assurance.

Team Management :

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and analysts.
  • Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities.

Quality Assurance :

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the migration project.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and tools where applicable.
  • Ensure thorough testing of all aspects of the migration, including functionality, performance, security, and data integrity.

Stakeholder Management :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality expectations.
  • Communicate QA progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on QA activities and project status.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Experience and Skills :

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.


Experience :

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a QA management or program management role.
  • Extensive experience in credit card payment processing.
  • Proven track record of managing largescale migration projects, particularly from mainframe to Java applications and onpremises to cloud technologies.

Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of mainframe and Java application architectures.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.

Soft Skills :

  • Excellent leadership and teambuilding skills.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications :

  • ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent certification.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
Additional

Experience :

  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Background in financial services or a related industry.)
