Key Responsibilities :

QA Program Management :

- Lead and manage the QA program for the migration project, ensuring high-quality standards.

- Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management.

Project Leadership :

- Oversee the QA aspects of the migration from mainframe to Java application and on-premises to cloud technologies.

- Ensure project timelines, quality objectives, and budget requirements are met.

- Identify and mitigate project risks related to quality assurance.

Team Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and analysts.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities.

Quality Assurance :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the migration project.

- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools where applicable.

- Ensure thorough testing of all aspects of the migration, including functionality, performance, security, and data integrity.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality expectations.

- Communicate QA progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

- Provide regular updates and reports on QA activities and project status.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA effectiveness and efficiency.

Required Experience and Skills :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- A Master's degree is preferred.

Experience :

- Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a QA management or program management role.

- Extensive experience in credit card payment processing.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale migration projects, particularly from mainframe to Java applications and on-premises to cloud technologies.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Understanding of mainframe and Java application architectures.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications :

Certifications :

- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent certification.

- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

Additional Experience :

- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

- Background in financial services or a related industry.
