Role Description

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with expertise in Elementor to join our dynamic web development team. As a WordPress Developer at (Company Name), you will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be key in building the front-end through Elementor page builder and ensuring high performance and responsiveness across all devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build user interfaces for WordPress websites using Elementor.
  • Convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing client websites and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with the design team to improve and refine website specifications.
  • Ensure that all elements of the website conform to the latest web standards and are compliant with accessibility guidelines.
  • Implement SEO best practices in conjunction with digital marketing teams.
  • Train the client's team on managing the website if needed and provide post-launch support.
  • Stay updated on best practices, new technologies, and the latest Elementor updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress file structure and experience developing custom themes.
  • Extensive experience building pages and implementing designs using Elementor.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Good understanding of PHP back-end development and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working WordPress pages.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop or Sketch for refining designs or wireframes.
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Certifications or courses completed in Elementor, front-end technologies, or web development.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce, is a plus.
  • Experience in managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
