Open Position: **Wireless SoC Development Lead**

This role focuses on crafting complex SoC/chip architectures with multi-core, multi-threaded processor subsystems, AI accelerators, interconnects, memory architecture, multi-level caches, multiple clocks and resets, high-speed interfaces, and peripherals.

The selected candidate will contribute to and oversee a team in developing architectures, microarchitectures, and designs of SoCs that encompass RISC-V, ARM, or proprietary processor designs, as well as high-speed interfaces for off-chip memories. Furthermore, integration of wireless systems, power management, and mixed signal IP falls under their responsibilities. Leading a project through the entire product development process will be a key accountability.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of Wireless SoCs from inception through production
  • Collaborate with product marketing teams on SoC requirements and provide design collateral for product approval gates
  • Develop and maintain SoC architecture to meet product requirements and maximize IP reuse
  • Create design schedules, milestones, and resource plans in coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Coordinate with global design leads to track execution, handle issues, and escalate when needed
  • Provide weekly status updates, attend cross-functional meetings, and drive design actions
  • Maintain design collateral and follow quality processes for successful tapeout
  • Support validation and product test teams during silicon bringup, validation, characterization, and qualification
  • Resolve issues during silicon evaluation and execute revisions if required

Experience Level: **Over 10 years in the Industry**

Education Requirements: **Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering**

Qualifications:
  • Ability to lead complex IP, SoC development projects with coordination skills
  • Top-down planning and execution of SoC projects
  • Experience in full-chip development cycle
  • Capability to build a strong technical team
  • Hands-on experience in architecture, micro-architecture, and digital design processes
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces like USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Mobile DDR, Quad/Octa-SPI
  • Understanding of peripheral interfaces like SDIO, UART, I2S, I2C, PWM, CAN, etc.
  • Knowledge of RISC-V and ARM processors
  • Experience with design signoff flows including Lint, CDC, Formal Verification, Synthesis, Constraints, and STA Timing Closure
  • Expertise in DFT including Scan, ATPG, MBIST
  • Adept at low power design methodology (static/dynamic clock gating, power gating, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling)
  • Understanding of hardware accelerators
  • Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Perl, Python, Tcl, and shell
