Staff Engineer, DEG Layout

We are seeking a Layout Design engineer to join our DEG Team in Hyderabad, India. As a Layout Design engineer, you will be involved in developing technologies for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing solutions such as High Bandwidth Memory.

  • Responsible for the design and development of critical analog, mixed-signal, custom digital blocks
  • Collaborate with global teams to deliver block-level layouts
  • Guide junior team members and contribute to project management
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams globally

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 8 to 15 years of experience in analog/custom layout design
  • Expertise in Cadence and Mentor Graphics tools
  • Hands-on experience in critical block layout creation
  • Understand Analog Layout fundamentals and layout effects on circuits
  • Problem-solving skills in physical verification of custom layout
  • Experience in managing multiple layout projects
  • Excellent communication skills

Education

BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering (Diploma holders in electronic or VLSI engineering will also be considered)
