Job Title:

Lead Software Development Engineer

This role oversees the entire system life cycle – from analysis and technical requirements to design, coding, testing, and implementation of software applications and systems to ensure the timely and budget-compliant delivery of technical solutions. The individual offers technical mentorship and direction to software development teams, ensuring their activities are in line with project objectives and industry standards. They identify elements influencing application complexity, estimate development timeframes, set milestones or deadlines, and monitor progress towards project completion. Moreover, they explore and promote the integration of cutting-edge technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity, leading software development teams in the successful delivery of intricate projects.
  • A track record of a minimum of 8 years in the industry, including at least 3 years of managing an application development team primarily focusing on windows desktop application development in C++, MFC, STL, and SQL.
  • Background in managing multiple projects, making decisions on priorities, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably functional languages like C++.
  • Thorough grasp of software architecture and design fundamentals, emphasizing the creation of scalable and sustainable systems.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-driven solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with best practices in software development, encompassing code evaluations, testing procedures, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficient in Agile Development methodologies.
  • Competence in C++, C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC patterns, and Web API services.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of elucidating intricate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education:

  • Holder of a Bachelor's Degree or its international equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
