Mumbai, India

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing vision and direction to the Agile development team(s) in your assigned domain and communicate this to key stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of playready tasks to work on
  • Plan, prioritise and refine the domain backlog in line with overall business priorities
  • Define product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with overall business priorities
  • Lead the domain team(s) in backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
  • Define acceptance criteria, set sprint goals and plan releases and upgrades
  • Work with other Product Owners, Product Management and the PMO to align on strategy, ensuring seamless products and coordinated deliveries
  • Work closely with Product Management and/or PMO to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyse the market, users, and roadmap for the product
  • Regular and clear reporting to the business and senior leaders
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
  • Analyse preferences and requests of end users
  • Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
  • Keep track of industry trends
  • Provides support to the team using a collaborative style and leading by example; personifying Scrum and Agile.
  • Ensures successful project delivery by managing story tickets through the Agile process
  • Where appropriate provides Line Management for team members
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure endtoend accountability is in place for delivery of project goals
  • Remove impediments or guides the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
  • Ensures work is completed according to business priority
  • Communicates internally and externally, improving transparency, and radiating information, facilitating discussions, decisionmaking, and conflict resolution as required
  • You may be asked to undertake additional duties to those above, either temporarily or permanently, which the Company reasonably believes you can do or for which you will be trained.
  • Occasionally you will be required to travel nationally and internationally

Qualifications Role Requirements E=essential, P=preferred**E - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent professional qualification or experience

E - Significant experience working as a Product Owner or equivalent experience within Agile Scrum delivery teams

E - Strong Senior Stakeholder Management skills and ability to build good relationships across a wide network of contacts at all levels of the business

E - Expert understanding of business strategy and ability to get up to speed quickly in a dynamic business

E - Excellent understanding of the Software Delivery Life Cycle and understanding of technical concepts

E - Evidence of leading the delivery of complex software solutions

P - Excellent exposure to and knowledge of working in the multi-national e-commerce or digital content creation industries

P- Experience across other roles in the Software Delivery Life Cycle e.g. Development, Design/Architecture, Test, Release, Project Management, Business Analysis

P - Experience of Line Management
