Job Overview: As a Batch Incharge, you will play a crucial role in managing the academic and administrative aspects of MBA and PGDM batches. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth functioning of the batches, offering support to students, collaborating with faculty members, and upholding high standards of academic delivery. Acting as a bridge between students, faculty, and the administration, you will be instrumental in meeting the academic objectives and standards of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Coordination:
- Collaborate with faculty to organize lectures, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus based on the academic calendar.
- Monitor and assess students' academic performance.
- Assist in creating and distributing academic materials.
- Student Support:
- Be the main contact point for student inquiries and issues.
- Provide guidance and counseling to students on academic and personal matters.
- Arrange and lead student orientation programs.
- Resolve student concerns promptly and effectively.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Generate and present regular batch performance reports to Academic Head/Program Director.
- Coordinate logistics for exams and assessments.
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulations.
- Liaison and Communication:
- Facilitate communication among students, faculty, and administration.
- Arrange frequent meetings with students and faculty to address issues and provide updates.
- Collaborate with other departments for academic and extracurricular activities.
- Event Management:
- Plan and execute academic events like guest lectures, industry visits, and conferences.
- Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, competitions, and community service projects.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure educational quality aligns with institutional standards.
- Establish feedback mechanisms to enhance academic processes continuously.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all operations meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Prepare necessary documentation and reports for accreditation and assessments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in education management or administration are advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in academic administration or similar roles.
- Experience in overseeing MBA/PGDM programs is highly valued.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in academic management software and MS Office Suite.
