What role will you play?

In this role, you will deliver software solutions that empower our people to innovate and invest for a better future. Collaborating with colleagues around the globe, you will engage with a variety of modern technologies, all built on our cloud-based infrastructure.

You will contribute to our dynamic and collaborative engineering team by utilising CI/CD, BDD, code quality practices, and monitoring. You'll build data and control pipelines across various technologies, including Python, JavaScript, and AWS, using event-driven messaging and APIs. You will be empowered to research, evaluate, and present recommendations for innovative technologies and frameworks.

What you offer

Proven engineering skills with the ability to work in Python using AWS to build data pipelines and microservices. Understanding of Design Patterns, Testing methodologies, and the overall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Comfortable proposing designs, gathering feedback, building solutions with reusability in mind, and documenting/explaining how the solution works. Comprehension of security aspects, including authentication and authorisation. Familiarity with Linux, Shell Scripting, load balancing, and basic networking concepts. Experience with Relational Database Services (RDS), including SQL and PL/SQL. Building solutions with user experience, automation, security, performance, resilience, cost, scale, and reusability in mind. Willingness to work in shifts to support stakeholders and collaborate with team members in Australia and the United States, as required.
