JOB PURPOSE

The primary objective of this role is to manage the company's Quality Program in line with organizational requirements. This involves establishing, assessing, and enhancing procedures to uphold high standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Additionally, it includes implementing and maintaining the quality system and periodically reviewing it.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support hospitals in conducting gap analyses.
  • Take part in pre-accreditation and pre-assessment reviews.
  • Aid hospitals in creating presentations and documents for the central quality team.
  • Keep track of all SOPs and maintain records of updates.
  • Ensure proper document control of SOPs, Manuals, Forms, and Formats at the corporate level.
  • Yearly review and update of all SOPs, Manuals, Policies, and procedures as required.
  • Identify new documentation needs and fulfill them promptly in collaboration with the department.
  • Assist in NABH external audits and their closures.
  • Develop an audit calendar for cross-audits and corporate audits.
  • Maintain audit records for all units, identify repeat observations, and compile reports.

Quality Indicators:

  • Collect and review indicator data for all units.
  • Support digitization of indicator capturing.

Quality Improvement Projects:

  • Identify and actively engage in centrally driven Quality Improvement Projects.
  • Assist in creating project charters and dashboards for all units.
  • Monitor progress, schedule review meetings with hospital teams, and manage a consolidated list of projects.
  • Prepare presentations and graphical representations of survey data.

Incident Reporting:

  • Prepare trend analysis of incident reports under supervision.

Training:

  • Support all training activities conducted by the central quality team.
  • Prepare monthly quality update slides and half-yearly & annual quality reports.
  • Assist in creating presentations for awards and recognitions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the reporting head.

KEY SUCCESS FACTOR

  • Ensuring implementation of quality standards.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

Qualification and Experience:

Qualification: Post Graduate degree, preferably MBA/MHA.

Experience: 10+ years' experience in quality management.

Experience criteria may be flexible for exceptional candidates.

Skills and Knowledge- Must have;

  • Proficiency in NABH standards, with familiarity in ISO 9000.
  • Strong understanding of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on international accreditation standards.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, research, and quality tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Word, Excel proficiency, and adept people management skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Effective resource management and emphasis on quality & safety.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills.
