Position Scientist - Cell & Molecular Biology

Location Bangalore

Desired Profile
M.Sc. (specialization in any Life sciences) with 8-13 years' or Ph.
D. with 0 - 7 years'
experience.

Job Description, Key Skills and
**Competencies: - Conduct cell-based assays and molecular biology experiments

  • Handle multiple adherent and suspension cancer cell lines
  • Conduct proliferation/viability/cytotoxicity assays for determining
potency of compounds

  • Establish various high throughput invitro assays for primary screening of
molecules using Western Blot analysis, pull down and
immunoprecipitation, in-cell-western technique, Flow cytometry,
reporter assays

  • Conduct Gene expression studies by western blot, ELISA or real time PCR
using cell lines as well as in-vivo tissue samples.

  • Able to generate pooled or stable clones of cell lines.
  • Able to troubleshoot experiments, analyse data, interpret, and make
scientific presentations.

  • Understanding of systems and process pertaining to safety, health, and
environment.
