Responsibilities:
  • Finalization of assurance assignments independently.
  • Building and managing a team of assurance professionals.
  • Assist in staffing duties like identifying resource requirements, conducting technical interviews, managing resource idle time, etc.
  • Training & Research.
  • Ownership over client responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Being a Single Point of Contact for clients.
Coordination with the firm's cross-service teams (IDT, Tax, IT, etc.) for assignments.
  • Traveling to various locations across India.

Skills Set Required:
  • Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, and reporting methodologies in the Banking Sector.
  • Awareness of reporting under IFRS and other GAAPs (SAs under Indian GAAP preferably) as needed for group reporting for different entities.
  • Proficient in using CAAT Tools like IDEA, PowerBi, etc.
  • Familiarity with direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws.
  • Experience in Conducting Bank Statutory Audits.
  • Exposure to ERP environment (SAP, Finacle, Flexcube, Bancs 24, Murex, etc.).
  • Strong technical knowledge of AS, Ind AS, SAs, etc. essential for task execution.
  • Ability to demonstrate project management skills and complete tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, etc.
  • Openness to travel.
  • Required experience: Associate: 4-6 years in Assurance Services.
