The Position:

Youwill bepart of a multi-country teamresponsiblefortheaccurateand timely deliveryof compensation and benefits to APEX employees.

Job Specification:


The main responsibilities ofthe position will include (butis notlimited to)thefollowingtasks:Consistently deliver highly accurate and compliant payroll and benefit processingfor ANZ Region.

Sound knowledge of India Payroll processing will be an addedadvantage;-Administering employee's personal / payroll / benefit data through the employeelifecycle, within the payroll and benefit vendor platforms;- Execute procedural controls in accordance with processing quality frameworkValidation and reconciliation of payroll processing reports and benefit invoices,ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of compensation and benefits to allemployees;- enquires from employees, responding efficiently and within agreed SLAs;Liaising with the finance teamto ensureaccurateand timely recognition of payrolland benefit costs within the financial accounts;Create, review and update payroll procedure documentation, ensuringalignment with country legislation and corporate policy changes

ANZ Payroll:
Sound knowledge of New Zealand and Australia payrollsAustralian and NewZealand compliance calculations such as, but not limited to:
Age Based Limit and Superannuation Guarantee Maximum ContributionLimits- Kiwi SaverBonus related tax obligationsFringe Benefit and related LAFHA reporting obligationsNew hires, Terminations / Severance-Assisting with Australian & New Zealand statutory complianceof payroll functionand ensuring accuracy of relevant accounting records- Ensuring New Zealand payroll and practices align with the NZ Holidays Act andother relevant legislationUnderstanding of NewZealand Inland Revenue Department(IRD) Legislation as itpertains to payrollUnderstanding of KiwiSaver/Superannuation LegislationIndia Payroll:
  • Working knowledge of India Payroll processing, final settlements, statutoryprovisions like PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity etc.
Preparation & checking the documents like PF Challans, ESI Challans, Prof. TaxChallans, Income Tax Deductions, Statutory payments etc.
Acting a helpdesk to resolve employees queriesMaintain and publish periodic dashboard & MIS Reports
Ensuring timelines are met for all statutory compliance.
Skills Required- Proven experience in a payroll and benefit delivery environmentTheabilitytoworkautonomouslyon own initiativeeither independentlyor as partof a team-Must have 6 plus years of experience in Payroll, Compliance, Audit and LabourLaws
Should have excellent written and spoken English.

Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, regulations and proceduresMotivated, self-starter individual with high level of integrity, intensity and activitywith a can-do attitude.

- Ability to work equally well either independently or as part of a teamProficient in MS Office Suite - especially in MS Excel;- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishA high level of accuracy and attention to detail
