Whatyou will do:

This role will carry out the following responsibilities:Provide 1st or 2nd-level troubleshooting and problem determination with local and remote employees and IT technical staff to evaluate and solve technical problems.

Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, accessories, and servers, as needed.
Set up and maintain virtual machines.
Complete full asset inventory checks on regular cadence - maintain a thorough and accurate asset and software inventory.
Follow standard operating procedures in the team andcreate and maintain procedure documents as needed.

Audit, troubleshoot, set up, and maintain AV or other technical equipment in the officeEnsure security protocols are followed in all environments (including user account and password maintenance).Setting up and maintaining monitoring systems and alerting systems for production environments to achieve optimum performanceUse the ticketing system to track daily work and requests.

Ability to multi-task and set workload priorities in a fast-paced environmentAssist IT staff in vendor coordination and managementTrack and route problems/requests and document resolutionsAssist in ramping up new employees, contractors, equipment, and accounts.

Conduct Tier 1 Help Desk tasks (password resets, on-the-spot systems troubleshooting, software installations, Telephonic support)

What you will bring:
Exceptionally positive attitude and communication skills for working with IT Staff, Office Staff, and remote employees.

Exceptional customer service skillsExperienced with Microsoft AD, password resets, new account creations, email administration, VM patching and maintenanceStrong and knowledgeable on M365 and apps, Teams, OneDrive.

Experience with VPN, desktop backup software, Apple iPhones, Apple iPads, printers, video projectors and secure wireless technologiesExperience with desktop virtualization products such as VMWare, and Citrix.

Experience with multiple operating systems like Mac, MS Windows & Linux (Solaris, a plus).Fundamental understanding of core networking principles.
Fundamental understanding of core computer and server hardware technology.
Skilled at troubleshooting, analysing, and researching solutions to technical problems independently.
Experience with generative AI tools to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to improve customer support experiences.

Experience with UNIX, Linux, and open-source tools a plusExperience with VMWare vSphere,ESXiand Workstation, Virtual Box, Parallels, or Windows Hyper-Understanding and experience with Infosec, HIPAA security, or Sarbanes Oxley.

Experience with generative AI tools to enhance efficiency and responsiveness to improve customer support experiences.
