PRIMARY PURPOSE:Primary contact for Procurement operations, liaising with Requestors of Purchase Requisitions, Plant Operations team, and Suppliers. Solicit quotations, convert purchase requests into Purchase Orders for Direct and Indirect Products and Services for plant operations. Follow up with Suppliers for Order acknowledgements, timely delivery of Products and Services.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates the requisitions process, issues purchase orders, contracts, and other documents vital to the purchasing function.
  • Provide support in rapid sourcing analysis, negotiations, contract execution and identifying additional vendors.
  • Interface with the internal requestors and stakeholders to clearly understand the procurement request and the business objectives
  • Organize, monitor, and report status of the activity towards stakeholders and management. Perform other procurement related support activities as assigned by management.
  • Prepare and review RFP content.
  • Keep Tracking tool Incidents updated with all the comments related with the progress of the resolution of each case

Process Improvements:
Facilitate by providing contribution for workflow improvement initiatives or automation of repetitive transactional processes.


8.investigate procurement and supply chain related issues utilizing the information available and mitigate with necessary steps to resolve the issue.
