- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in the hospitality sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive business growth in both new and existing markets.
- You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to achieve individual and team objectives.
- This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the hospitality sector.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Create and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
- Team Leadership and Management: Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify, recruit, and onboard top sales talent.
- Mentor, coach, and motivate sales team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and track progress against goals.
- Conduct sales training.
- Business Development and Client Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients in the hospitality sector, including hotels, restaurants, event venues, and other related businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance data, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize CRM systems to manage sales activities and track customer interactions.
Provide sales forecasting.
- Qualifications: 6-8 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
