DESCRIPTION:Amazon is a fast paced, dynamic, high-tech company. Amazon's accounting team is searching for bar-raising Oracle Financials professionals who consistently exceed expectations, who thrive in a challenging workplace, and who can actively contribute to our talented team. This specific role is looking for highly engaged Application Analysts to expand the Oracle General Ledger application's functionalities to support Amazon at scale and reduce the manual effort in accounting space.We are looking for a Oracle Financials Application Analyst who has expertise in General Ledger module, end to end solution design, build and support different Accounting processes using Oracle Financials General Ledger. The Analyst will work across Amazon business and engineering teams and seek opportunities to simplify Accounting process providing enhanced user experience for our accounting customers located across the globe.

This role requires proficiency in the analysis of system requirements, functional optimization, system configuration, end user support and ongoing maintenance. An effective analyst is expected to bring and develop relevant technical, functional, and process skills to support Oracle Financials General Ledger projects and initiatives, which affect accounting.

About the teamThe Corporate Reporting Systems (CRS) team implements new applications and supports existing applications used by Worldwide Accounting & Finance and strives to continually improve our accounting processes, reporting, and control capabilities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Degree in computer science, finance, accounting or related field ·2-3 years of IT experience in Oracle Financials GL design, operations and support teams in finance/accounting fields ·Provide technical contribution during solution, design, and architectural discussions.Proven track record of successful design, implementation, and/or participation in large-scale enterprise accounting applicationsRelevant experience in gathering, analyzing and synthesizing business requirements and when needed escalating actions from multiple sources Maintains highest levels of customer focus and results delivery ·Dives deep, stay connected to details and permanently resolves issuesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with Hyperion will be a plusGood interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
