Who we are:

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT's product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Job Summary

Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy autonomous systems for efficient operation in complex indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of certifiable autonomous systems.
  • Fuse thermal, visual, and inertial sensing for accurate, reliable performance, improved awareness, and better decision-making.
  • Maintain sensor calibration for optimal data output
  • System performance analysis and data collection

Personal Qualities

Strong work ethic with dedication to delivering timely, high-quality results. Adaptable with a can-do attitude to overcome challenges.

Technical Skills:

  • Embedded and kernel driver development for devices like IMU.
  • Proficient in C/CPP, Python, ROS1, and ROS2.
  • Strong foundation in robotics, computer vision, and software development.
  • Experience with autonomous systems development.
  • ROS hardening (secure programming practices).
  • Skills in off-road visual mapping.
  • Experience with high-end simulation platforms (e.g., CARLA, Omniverse).
  • Quick data analysis scripting abilities.

Additional Skills:

  • Analysis documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Basic Requirement (education & relevant experience):


• Bachelors/Masters (Computer Science/Electronics Engineering is a must)
