Job Description / ResponsibilitiesCalibration of field instruments using a portable multifunction calibrator and hand pump (provided by the customer)Calibration and testing of pressure switches, level instruments, and level switchesCleaning of density meters and filters and checking against QC valuesCalibration of temperature transmitters and checking RTD sensorsHousekeeping of control room panels, consoles, and field instrumentsMonsoon protection of all field instrumentsTesting of smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points (Fire Alarm System)Calibration and testing of hydrocarbon gas detectors and flame detectorsRemoval and refixing of turbine flow meter pick-up coils and pre-amplifier cardsSupport in OTDR testing, OFC jointing, and optical power measurementsLaying and termination of instrument & LAN cables (minor works)Assistance in troubleshooting telecom systems (SDH, PDH, EPABX, CCTV, VCS)Routine surveillance of PLC panels, control panels, junction boxes, detectors, etc.Preparation of calibration certificates (formats provided by Customer)Maintaining maintenance log booksPreparing and submitting weekly/monthly reportsManaging spares, consumables, and store materialsPerforming preventive and breakdown maintenance as per scheduleRequired Qualifications & SkillsDiploma / ITI / Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical / Related fieldExperience in industrial instrumentation and calibrationBasic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, RTD, pressure & level instrumentsFamiliarity with fire & gas detection systems is preferredAbility to read and understand EnglishGood troubleshooting and documentation skills
