Job Description / Responsibilities- Calibration of field instruments using a portable multifunction calibrator and hand pump (provided by the customer)- Calibration and testing of pressure switches, level instruments, and level switches- Cleaning of density meters and filters and checking against QC values- Calibration of temperature transmitters and checking RTD sensors- Housekeeping of control room panels, consoles, and field instruments- Monsoon protection of all field instruments- Testing of smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual call points (Fire Alarm System)- Calibration and testing of hydrocarbon gas detectors and flame detectors- Removal and refixing of turbine flow meter pick-up coils and pre-amplifier cards- Support in OTDR testing, OFC jointing, and optical power measurements- Laying and termination of instrument & LAN cables (minor works)- Assistance in troubleshooting telecom systems (SDH, PDH, EPABX, CCTV, VCS)- Routine surveillance of PLC panels, control panels, junction boxes, detectors, etc.- Preparation of calibration certificates (formats provided by Customer)- Maintaining maintenance log books- Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports- Managing spares, consumables, and store materials- Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance as per scheduleRequired Qualifications & Skills- Diploma / ITI / Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical / Related field- Experience in industrial instrumentation and calibration- Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, RTD, pressure & level instruments- Familiarity with fire & gas detection systems is preferred- Ability to read and understand English- Good troubleshooting and documentation skills
