Role: Quality Engineer Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: Long Term Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Location: Pune, India – willing to go onsite We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with strong MicroStrategy, Power BI & SQL experience to drive testing strategy, collaborate with developers, and partner closely with product teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute QE methodologies for BI solutions across EDW & Big Data platforms. Design test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for dashboards, semantic models, and reporting workflows. Validate data accuracy and business rules across Snowflake, Oracle, and other data sources. Build/maintain automation frameworks for regression and performance testing. Collaborate with BI developers & data engineers to identify and resolve defects early. Provide quality metrics and support release readiness and production stability. Must-Have Skills 3–5+ years in QE/QA for BI, Data Analytics, or Data Warehouse environments. Strong hands-on testing experience with MicroStrategy & Power BI . Solid SQL skills; Python or Unix scripting a plus. Familiarity with Snowflake & Oracle. Understanding of BI best practices, data modeling, and DW concepts. Experience with automation, performance testing, and data quality validation. Excellent communication & ability to work independently in a fast-paced agile environment. Retail customer data experience preferred.
