Role Description — Senior Salesforce Developer This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Salesforce Developer. You will design, build, test, and deploy custom Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Agentforce solutions based on customer needs. The role requires deep technical ownership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and ensure seamless system performance. You will also lead innovations across Agentforce agents, internal and external AI workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks . Additionally, this position may involve integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems, contributing to AI/automation architectures, and mentoring junior developers . Qualifications Core Salesforce Expertise Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL , and Salesforce APIs. Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration: flows, validation rules, reports/dashboards, sharing rules , and setup administration. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture , governor limits, and scalable design patterns. Experience in building complex REST/SOAP integrations , middleware orchestration, and data migrations. Data Cloud + Agentforce (Required) Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud including: Data streams, data model objects (DMOs), harmonization, identity resolution. Segmentation, activation, data transformations, and lakehouse integrations. Experience building Agentforce implementations , including: Internal and external AI agents Prompt templates, guardrails, evaluation/testing center workflows Retrieval strategies, knowledge grounding, and secure data access patterns. Ability to design end-to-end AI automation using GenAI, Agentforce, and Data Cloud . Solution Design & Leadership Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into high-impact technical solutions . Experience leading development efforts, reviewing code, and mentoring junior developers . Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work across departments including product, data, engineering, and customer teams. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Platform App Builder, Data Cloud Consultant, AI Associate, Agentforce Consultant (preferred but not required). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent strong practical experience . Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Salesforce features using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and declarative tools. Lead implementation of Data Cloud solutions , including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, and customer 360 use cases. Build and optimize Agentforce agents (internal and external), including: Prompt templates and workflow logic Agent actions and retrieval patterns Guardrails and evaluation/testing center frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering, Architecture, PM) to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs . Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Data Cloud, and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools. Conduct thorough unit testing, regression testing, and agent evaluations to ensure reliability, security, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the Salesforce platform, Data Cloud pipelines, and AI agent workflows. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and deliver accurate technical estimates for user stories and tasks. Maintain best practices for code quality, CI/CD automation, version control, and environment management (scratch orgs, sandboxes, pipelines). Review code contributions and provide mentorship to junior developers and cross-team members. Work closely with architects to ensure adherence to enterprise security, governance, and scalable design . Document solution designs, agent structures, prompt flows, technical decisions, and user guides. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes using flows, bots, Agentforce, and GenAI-powered solutions.
