The engineer will be part of a squad and collaborate with other members of the tribe to deliver business outcomes using the agile methodology. Job Description/Skills Required• 6+ years of hands-on experience in application design, development and implementations.• 3 + years of experience with building modern applications utilizing services like Cloud Build, Cloud Functions/ Cloud Run, GKE, Logging, GCS, BigQuery & IAM• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with GKE/K8s.• Proficiency in Terraform or similar IaC tools.• Experience in Python and/or shell scripting. A secondary language such as Golang is added advantage.• Experience working with container technologies like Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development to be able to design, build and support them in production.• Foundational understanding of event-driven design principles for efficient service interactions utilizing Kafka/stream processing frameworks.• Expertise with building CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo (or similar)• Expertise with Maven, Robot, Mockito, Junit and JMeter• Able to demonstrate experience with software engineering practices including CI/CD, Automated testing and Performance Engineering.• Experience with Agile development methodology.• Experience working with a distributed version control and source code management tool such as Git.• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.• Team player, collaborative approach and excellent communication skills• Strong engineering skills with three or more of the following Nice to have• Experience as a Site Reliability engineer is a plus• Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace• Experience working with Connect-Direct and Ctrl-m Scheduler.• Experience in handling and managing data effectively using Data Services in any cloud platform.• Experience in secrets management using Hashicorp Vault is a plus. Senior role would need below skills• Proficiency in designing and developing scalable and decoupled microservices and adeptness in implementing event-driven architecture to ensure seamless and responsive service interactions.• Proficiency in designing scalable and robust solutions leveraging cloud-native technologies and architectures.• Expertise in managing diverse stakeholder expectations and adept at prioritizing tasks to align with strategic objectives and deliver optimal outcomes.
