Headed by Deepak Shenoy as the CEO, the company has launched its first mutual fund schemes for retail investors, HNIs and corporates alike, to help these investors meet their long term financial goals. We have a well-rounded management team, with senior personnel in fund management, compliance, risk, marketing, investor servicing and operations. Using technology, digital approaches, and a strong investor education focus, we hope to use insightful analysis, supervised automation and easy-to-understand communication to make investing more approachable for Indian investors.

Required Qualification and Skills:

  • MBA / CA / CFA / Graduate in Economics or Finance. 
  • 2-5 Years of prior experience in credit research within rating agency is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with sectors such as NBFCs, Banks and Financial institution.
  • Strong financial modelling, ratio analysis, and Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with credit rating methodologies and credit risk models. 
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, or other financial databases. 
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple issuers/sectors simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, particularly in preparing crisp and insightful credit notes.
  • Integrity, ownership mindset, and collaborative spirit.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Credit Research & Due Diligence  

  • Perform in-depth fundamental credit analysis on existing and prospective issuers, including both financial institutions and corporates. 
  • Assess financial statements, industry dynamics, management quality and conduct financial modelling, ratio analysis etc. 
  • Track macroeconomic trends, sectoral developments, and regulatory updates impacting credit markets. 

2. Investment Recommendation & Monitoring  

  • Develop detailed credit notes, internal ratings, and investment memos for investment committee approval. 
  • Monitor portfolio holdings on a continuous basis, flagging early warning signals and proposing risk-mitigation strategies. 
  • Participate in management calls, rating agency interactions, and analyst meetings. 

3. Regulatory & Risk Compliance  

  • Ensure adherence to SEBI regulations, internal investment policies, credit limits, and compliance frameworks. 
  • Support investment team during internal and external audits, especially in documentation and credit justifications. 

4. Market Intelligence  

  • Track bond market developments including new issuances, credit spreads, downgrades/defaults, and rating changes. 
  • Liaise with rating agencies and debt syndicate desks for market colour and upcoming issuance\deals.
