Key Responsibilities:

Patient Registration:Accurately register new patients, collecting necessary demographic and insurance information. Appointment Scheduling:Manage patient appointments by scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments through phone calls and electronic systems. Patient Check-in/Check-out:Greet patients upon arrival, verify their information, collect co-pays, and process patient check-out procedures. Phone Management:Answer incoming calls promptly, direct calls to appropriate staff, and provide basic medical information when necessary. Insurance Verification:Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure proper billing. Medical Records Maintenance:Update patient records with relevant clinical information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Billing and Payment Collection:Process patient payments, including co-pays and outstanding balances. Patient Flow Management:Coordinate with clinical staff to manage patient flow and minimize waiting times. Administrative Tasks:Maintain front desk area cleanliness, manage appointment schedules on electronic systems, and order office supplies.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in a healthcare front office setting is beneficial
