Key Responsibilities:Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Use GCP services such as BigQuery for scalable data storage and querying, optimizing for performance and cost-efficiency.Work with Teradata for large-scale data warehousing and ensure seamless integration with cloud-based data solutions.ETL Process and Data Pipeline Management:Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using DBT for transforming and modeling data within GCP.Leverage BigQuery for querying, analyzing, and structuring data to enable business intelligence and reporting.Implement automated data workflows and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.Database and Data Warehousing:Manage Teradata data warehousing solutions, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.Implement and optimize data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing in GCP.Work with data engineers to ensure data models and structures are optimized for analytical and business purposes.Automation and CI/CD:Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.Implement CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment of cloud-based applications and data services.Leverage tools like Terraform, Jenkins, or similar to ensure seamless deployment of data solutions.Collaboration and Support:Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions.Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.Assist with performance tuning and troubleshooting of BigQuery, Teradata, and DBT environments.Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor the performance of data pipelines and cloud infrastructure, making proactive adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.Continuously optimize BigQuery and Teradata for query performance, cost reduction, and scalability.Key Requirements:Experience:6+ years of experience working with GCP services, including BigQuery, Teradata, and DBT.Strong understanding of cloud data storage, management, and analytics, particularly in GCP.Experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines and data workflows.Technical Skills:Expertise in BigQuery for data querying, reporting, and analytics.Hands-on experience with Teradata for data warehousing and business intelligence solutions.Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modeling in a cloud environment.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, or similar.Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and optimization.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
