We are looking to hire Cost Analyst to join our finance team at Manager level for the location of Mumbai (Malad).Position: Cost Analyst (Manager)Qualification: Chartered AccountantLocation: Mumbai (Malad)ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analytics: Analyses and reports on business performance by means of: Monthly performance, AOP, product/market/function/customer/integral profitability, quarterly forecasting, strategic planning, cost control, target setting / remuneration, pricing/margin analysis, etc.Decision Support: Offer data driven insights on revenue and opex for robust business decisions unlocking growth areas.S&D GAC – Forecasting and monitoring of S&D GAC as per center approved GAC. Also to check for opportunities for reduction in GACCenter Requirement – Any adhoc requirement form center teamCircle Compliance – Driving various legal and circle compliances on monthly basisProcess Excellence: Lead and conduct process audits for SCM and logistics and identify and drive process improvements and lead a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting: Provide monthly and quarterly analysis of business unit performance on financial metrics supporting management to uncover trends and opportunities threats to profitability.Qualifications Chartered Accountant/MBA (Finance)2+ years of industry experienceExpert data analytics and modeling skills in ExcelExperience working with large, complex and incomplete data sets and ReconciliationCross-functional project management experienceVery strong quantitative/analytical skillsetSuperior business judgement – ability to flex between big picture thinking, understand and distill complex ideas, and analyze data to drive strategic objectivesProblem solver that is action-oriented with ability to look at problems in new waysTrustworthy and discreet with highly sensitive non-public informationPassion for Airtel products and belief in Airtel’s mission
