About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer with 1 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating intuitive, engaging, and user-centered digital experiences across our various platforms. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process, from understanding user needs and defining information architecture to crafting visually appealing interfaces and ensuring a seamless user journey. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, excellent visual design skills, and the ability to collaborate 1 effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- User Research and Analysis : Conduct user research activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.

- Analyze research data to identify key insights and inform design decisions.

- Information Architecture and Wireframing : Develop clear and logical information architecture, sitemaps, and user flows.

- Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes to visualize the structure and functionality of user interfaces.

- Prototyping : Build interactive prototypes using various tools to effectively communicate design concepts and test user interactions.

- Iterate on prototypes based on feedback and testing results.

- User Interface Design : Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

- Create style guides, UI kits, and design systems to ensure consistency across products.

- Usability Testing and Iteration : Plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing sessions to identify areas for improvement.

- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data.

- Collaboration with Development Teams : Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the

accurate implementation of designs.

- Provide detailed specifications and assets for development.

- Collaboration with Product Managers : Partner with product managers to understand business requirements, user stories, and product vision.

- Contribute to the definition of product features and user experiences.

- Staying Up-to-Date with Trends : Continuously learn about the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and best practices.

- Share knowledge and contribute to the team's design expertise.

- Accessibility and Inclusivity : Design with accessibility in mind, ensuring that our products are usable by people with diverse abilities.

- Visual Communication : Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders through presentations and documentation.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Design and Prototyping Tools :

Required : Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

Preferred : InVision, Principle, Framer

- Understanding of User-Centered Design (UCD) Principles : Demonstrated ability to apply UCD methodologies throughout the design process.

- Knowledge of Information Architecture (IA) and Interaction Design (IxD) Principles : Ability to create effective site structures, navigation systems, and user interactions.

- Basic Understanding of Front-End Development : Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals and their impact on design feasibility.

- Experience with User Research Methodologies : Understanding of various qualitative and quantitative research methods.

- Knowledge of Usability Testing Techniques : Ability to plan, conduct, and analyze usability tests.

- Understanding of Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) : Knowledge of web content accessibility guidelines and best practices.

UX Skills :

- Empathy and User Focus : Ability to understand user needs and motivations.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address user challenges.

- Information Synthesis : Ability to synthesize research data and identify key insights.

- User Journey Mapping : Experience creating user journey maps to visualize the user experience.

- Scenario Planning : Ability to create user scenarios to guide design decisions.

UI Skills :

- Visual Design Principles : Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.

- Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of design.

- Consistency and Branding : Ability to maintain design consistency and adhere to brand guidelines.

- Creating UI Kits and Style Guides : Experience developing and maintaining design systems.

- Motion Design Basics (Preferred) : Basic understanding of animation principles and their application in UI.

- Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal) : Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design ideas and rationale.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.

- 1 to 4 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar role.

- A strong online portfolio showcasing your design process and demonstrating your skills in UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
