If you have a proven track record in debt syndication, deep investor relationships, and a passion for enabling mission-driven businesses—this role offers the perfect blend of purpose, leadership, and professional growth.The Vice President is an integral member of our team working directly with Vice Presidents and Senior Management in all facets of our business, including origination and execution of transactions, and building relationships with investors and industry experts.The work primarily revolves around Debt deals in impact sectors (Financial Inclusion, Affordable Education, Affordable Healthcare, Renewable Energy, Women Empowerment, Waste Management). Strong relationship skills on Client and Investor side is key, while being a great team player.Primary Responsibilities:Raising / arranging capital and placement of debt securities to investorsWork on a wide range of assignments/transactions, from ideation and initial client pitches through transaction closings, and other strategic advisory services.Independently managing deal execution for debt transactions including investor reach out and pitches, negotiation of terms, working with third-party service providers like lawyers, valuers, due-diligence agencies, etc., advise and finalization of definitive documents, closing, etc.Communicate regulatory, financial information and complex strategic issues in a clear, concise and relevant manner to assist and guide transaction structureDevelop and maintain client networks across various sectors, and support client acquisition effortsDevelop and maintain relationships with Wholesale lenders – Banks, NBFCs and Foreign lendersConversant with handling corporate database and adherence to defined timelines for deliveryStrong analytical abilities with knowledge of industry and companiesMentor and develop junior staffQualifications:MBA with major in Finance or Economics (or equivalent degree or CFA or CA), desirableSuperior financial modeling with solid experience in accounting and business valuation techniquesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, and specifically Excel and PowerPointExperience:6-10 years of experience at an investment bank or boutique M&A or private equity advisory firm with solid experience in business development, deal pitching and deal execution across transaction typesDemonstrated experience in managing of day-to-day aspects of client relationships and transactions with superior attention to detail and quality deliverablesSuperior research and business/financial analysis skillsStrong understanding of business valuation techniques, including comparable company/transaction analysis and discounted cash flow analysisExperience with or networks with venture capital and private equity ecosystem in IndiaKnowledge of social investment space, desirableAbility to multi-task and a demonstrated ability to work independently coupled with solid team skillsWillingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50% of time away from Bangalore)A passion for making a differenceDesired candidates will have the ability to out-perform this job description, thrive in a collegial, dynamic, entrepreneurial and driven culture, and have a passion for making a difference.About my client:Rated #1 Investment Bank (deal volume) by Venture Intelligence & VCCEdge$4B+ capital raised for 110+ impact clients across Asia-PacificEntrepreneurial culture with strong values of trust, fairness, and inclusionDirect exposure to sector-shaping transactions and purpose-driven clients
