Job Title: Manager - Category (Pricing)
You will be responsible for delivering critical components of the B2C business profit and loss statement. Your role will involve laying out a multi-year strategy for the growth and evolution of the business, as well as leading the execution of high-impact cross-functional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L Management: Oversee various components of the profit and loss statement
- Business Metrics: Monitor and manage key performance indicators including customer acquisition and retention, conversion rates, segment volumes, net revenue, revenue per segment, marketing expenses, discounts per segment, and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT)
- Supplier Relationships: Provide critical inputs to supplier relations teams for ongoing discussions with airlines
- Product Development: Stay up-to-date on global consumer trends and use this knowledge to evolve the air product in conjunction with the product team
- Cross-Functional Ownership: Collaborate closely with internal teams across product, technology, fulfillment, customer support, corporate strategy, and marketing to manage relationships and deliver end-to-end tasks that drive traffic growth, conversion, and additional revenue for each category
- Pricing and Promotions: Develop sales promotions with marketing teams and manage website pricing through benchmarking
- Reporting: Provide performance reports to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- 2-6 years of relevant experience in online, travel, or consulting
- Excellent understanding of market and consumer trends
- Highly analytical with advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience with web analytics, data mining, and business intelligence tools (Google Analytics, SQL, R/Python, Tableau/QlikSense/QlikView/Power BI)
- Self-starter with excellent communication, leadership, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with different functional teams and levels to achieve objectives
- Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles with outstanding execution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong business relationships with key stakeholders and partners
