Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our development team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. You'll work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-performing, visually stunning, and conversion-focused online stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize responsive Shopify themes and apps.
  • Implement third-party integrations and Shopify APIs.
  • Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, functionality, and integration.
  • Work collaboratively with the design and marketing teams to translate designs and requirements into functional stores.
  • Maintain version control using Git and follow development best practices.
  • Monitor website performance and perform regular maintenance and updates.
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
  • Implement A/B tests and improve conversion rates based on analytics and customer feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience developing Shopify websites (1+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
  • Experience with Shopify Plus is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with headless Shopify (e.g., using Gatsby, Next.js).
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop).
  • Experience in other eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
