Verbal Trainer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Verbal Reasoning Expert to join our team, specializing in standardized test preparation for the GRE, GMAT, and SAT. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience for these standardized tests, demonstrate a strong command of verbal reasoning concepts, and exhibit a genuine passion for empowering students to achieve their academic and career goals. The role requires an inquisitive individual who is eager to innovate and keep themselves updated with the changing landscapes of the standardized tests, while delivering high-quality instruction and mentoring students.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of teaching Verbal Reasoning for standardized tests (GRE, GMAT, SAT) and proven success in coaching for these standardized tests with top percentile scores in Verbal sections.

Qualifications: 

• Preferred qualification: Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field (or) CELTA/TESOL Certifications (or) Should have taken GRE/GMAT tests and have scored at least 80 percentile in the verbal reasoning section.
• Subject Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Verbal Reasoning concepts such as Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, English Grammar, and Vocabulary Building. Expertise in standardized test formats and scoring methodologies for GRE, GMAT, and SAT. Experience in curriculum development for these standardized exams.
• Passion for Teaching: Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to making a positive impact on students' careers and helping students to improve their verbal reasoning score on the standardized tests like GRE, GMAT, and SAT. Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and time management.
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Classroom, digital tools, and other teaching aids. Familiarity with student performance tracking systems and analytics.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts. Ability to analyze and address student pain points effectively and clear their doubts with patience.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and student needs. 
• Growth-Oriented: Desire to grow professionally within the organization and contribute to its success.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive online sessions on verbal reasoning for GRE, GMAT, and SAT.
• Design and customize content, teaching slide decks, lesson plans, practice materials, workbooks, and mock tests to cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Mentor and guide students through their learning journey by offering personalized feedback and performance improvement strategies.
• Stay updated with test formats, scoring methodologies, and industry trends to ensure up-to-date teaching practices.
• Collaborate with other faculty and team members to improve course content and delivery methods.
• Conducting webinars and seminars on these standardized tests.
• Use technology effectively, including online learning platforms, video tools, and data analytics, to enhance the student learning experience.
