Role Overview:

The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and fostering strategic relationships with municipal corporations. This role requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong technical background, proven experience in municipal sales, and exceptional relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Solinas' mission and capable of effectively communicating the value of its innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales and Business Development:

- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to target and acquire municipal corporation clients.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the municipal sector.

- Lead the development of proposals, tenders, and presentations tailored to municipal needs.

- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.

Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers within municipal corporations.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing technical consultation and support.

- Represent Solinas at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Technical Consultation and Support:

- Provide technical expertise and demonstrations to clients during the sales process.

- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless product delivery and client satisfaction.

- Effectively communicate the technical benefits and advantages of Solinas' robotic solutions.

Pipeline Management and Reporting:

- Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and provide regular reports to senior management.

- Forecast sales and revenue projections accurately.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales documentation.

Market Intelligence:

- Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape within the municipal Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.

- 8 to 15 years of proven experience in technical sales, with a significant focus on municipal corporations (mandatory).

- Strong understanding of municipal procurement processes, regulations, and decision-making structures.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Results-oriented1 mindset with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales target

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel frequently.
