Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at DCS Group. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects at various sites in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Qualifications and Skills

  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Site Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Good communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders
  • Good learning skills to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and site engineering principles
  • Experience in managing building projects of varying complexity
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Prepare and review project plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet standards
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and change orders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Job Description

Proficiency in construction methodologies, safety practices, and regulations.

On-Site Management:

Supervise and coordinate construction activities, ensuring they align with

project specifications and timelines.

Oversee the execution of construction tasks, ensuring quality standards

are met.

Resource Management:

Manage on-site resources including labor, materials, and equipment

efficiently.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of required

materials.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site, ensuring

a safe working environment for all personnel.

Conduct regular safety inspections and address any identified hazards

promptly.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage on-site teams, providing guidance and support to

ensure tasks are completed effectively.

Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance to maintain

productivity.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

Regularly monitor project progress, track milestones, and report updates

to project managers.

Prepare and submit progress reports on construction activities and

achievements.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a liaison between on-site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and

project managers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Problem-Solving and Decision Making:

Address on-site challenges and resolve issues that may arise during

construction activities.

Make informed decisions to keep the project on track and mitigate delays.

Quality Control:

Ensure that construction work complies with established quality standards

and meets client expectations.

Conduct inspections to maintain quality assurance throughout the project.
