Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Cleanroom Operator to join our team. The

Cleanroom Operator will be responsible for performing manufacturing, assembly, or support

tasks in a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring strict adherence to cleanliness and

safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment and perform processes within cleanroom environment (Class 100/ 1000 or as applicable).
  • Handle sensitive components such as wafers, sensors, optical parts, etc., using cleanroom gloves and tools.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and cleanroom protocols (GMP, ESD, gowning procedures, etc.).
  • Maintain cleanliness, monitor particulate levels, and prevent contamination of materials.
  • Support routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of cleanroom tools and instruments.
  • Log data accurately in batch sheets, maintenance records, or electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams during process trials or inspections.
  • Follow safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma / B.E. in Electrical and Mechanical, related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in cleanroom / lab / production environment preferred. Freshers may also apply.
  • Basic understanding of cleanroom protocols, contamination control, and ESD safety.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, wear cleanroom gowns, and follow hygiene practices.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow process discipline.za
