🧾 About the RoleHappy Cheeks Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations for our fast-scaling D2C and e-commerce brand, Kidology. This role requires strong ownership, analytical ability, and expertise in handling multi-channel accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, Q-commerce, D2C, retail).You will lead key accounting functions, ensure compliance, streamline processes, and provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented startup environment.📋 Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations & ReportingOversee day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and ledger management.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and P&L.Ensure timely and error-free data entry in accounting systems (Tally Books).Compliance & AuditManage GST, TDS, and statutory filings with 100% compliance.Maintain audit-ready documentation and lead coordination with internal & external auditors.Ensure adherence to accounting principles, financial controls, and company policies.E-commerce & D2C AccountingHandle payout reconciliation for Amazon, FirstCry, Blinkit, Zepto, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.Validate deductions, fees, returns, and chargebacks across platforms.Manage inventory costing, COGS calculation, and stock movement reconciliation across warehouses.Financial Planning & AnalysisLead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis.Track cash flow, working capital, and fund management.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team.Team Leadership & Process ImprovementGuide and review the work of junior accountants or executives.Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and financial accuracy.Collaborate with procurement, operations, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth financial operations.🎓 RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.4–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in D2C, retail, FMCG, or e-commerce.Strong command over Tally, Excel, and e-commerce financial processes.Deep understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and compliance.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.Ability to handle high-volume data and multi-channel financial operations.Experience reviewing and mentoring junior accountants.💼 Preferred ExperiencePrior work in a D2C brand or online marketplace ecosystem.Hands-on experience with marketplace payout dashboards.Knowledge of inventory costing and supply chain accounting.Experience managing audits end-to-end.🌟 What We OfferA leadership-focused accounting role in a growing D2C brand.Collaboration with cross-functional teams across retail, e-commerce, and logistics.A culture that values ownership, innovation, accuracy, and continuous learning.Opportunities to shape financial processes during high-growth phases.📍 Location: Sikanderpur, Gurugram (On-site)
