AI-Powered UI Designer

OpportunityAs a UI Designer at QDC, you will create modern, intuitive, and AI-powered interfaces that delight users and simplify complex workflows. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customers and other stakeholders to design interfaces that are lightweight, intelligent, and scalable. A mandatory part of this role is the ability to use AI tools extensively for UI generation, rapid prototyping, UX flows, component creation, and visual ideation.ResponsibilitiesDesign clean, intuitive, and AI-enhanced interfaces for web and mobile applications.Use AI-based design tools (MANDATORY) such as Figma AI, Galileo AI, Uizard, Midjourney/DALL·E, Framer AI, and other generative tools.Collaborate with Product Managers, customers and other stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-assisted UI designs.Build and maintain an AI-ready design system with components that support smart interactions and dynamic data.Work with Engineering to ensure proper implementation and interaction fidelity.Prototype AI-driven user journeys, predictive flows, and intelligent suggestions.Conduct usability checks (AI-simulated or manual) and iterate quickly using AI-powered testing tools.Document design patterns, components, and AI-generated design standards.Improve UI consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across the product.What you can expect in the next SIX months :Within 1 monthUnderstand QDC workflows, personas, and existing designs.Learn the company’s AI-first design approach.Begin using AI tools to generate small UI assets and screens.Participate in product onboarding, customer call shadowing, and AI feature demos.Within 2 monthsOwn a feature UI using AI-first creation workflows.Improve components and screens using Figma AI/Galileo-generated variations.Start proposing AI-powered UI/UX enhancements.Collaborate with engineers to implement intelligent UI interactions.Within 4 monthsLead UI design for a complete module using AI for speed, quality, and scale.Improve and expand the AI-ready design system.Build advanced prototypes that include smart actions, predictions, and contextual AI.Suggest automation (auto-generating screens, flows, assets) to speed up the product cycle.Within 6 monthsBecome the internal specialist for AI-driven product design.Facilitate AI-based design thinking sessions for new initiatives.Present AI-enhanced design proposals to leadership.Influence the evolution of the design language and design system using generative tools.Mentor interns/junior designers on AI-first workflows.What an ideal candidate looks like :1–3 years of experience in UI Design for SaaS, ERP, logistics, POS, or mobile/web products.Mandatory: Hands-on experience with AI design tools.Ability to generate UI screens, assets, icons, and prototypes using AI.Strong foundation in visual design (layout, color, spacing, grids, typography).Experience with design systems and component-based UI creation.Familiarity with responsive design and interaction principles.What we are looking for :Attitude AI-First Approach (MANDATORY): Thinks in terms of automation, smart suggestions, predictive UI, and generative workflows.High Adaptability: Comfortable working with evolving AI tools and experimenting constantly.User-Obsessed: Designs that reduce cognitive load and improve user efficiency.Proactive: Brings new AI design ideas and tools into the team.Detail-Oriented: Ensures pixel-perfect output even when AI generates the base draft.Iterative & Feedback-Driven: Quickly generates multiple versions using AI and refines them.SkillsAI Design Tool Proficiency (MANDATORY).Ability to use AI to accelerate: Ideation Wireframing UI screen generation Prototyping Asset creationVisual Design Strength: Clean, modern UI.Design System Knowledge: Build AI-compatible, reusable components.Interaction Design: Flows, transitions, micro-interactions.Collaboration: Clear communication with PMs and engineers.Problem Solving: Converting complex workflows into simple UI using AI assistance.
