ISHM also provides international on-job training and placement opportunities in over 17 countries. Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role for a Placement Coordinator, based in Kolkata. The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating and managing placement opportunities for students by building relationships with companies, scheduling recruitment events, and ensuring effective communication with employers. Additional responsibilities include preparing students for interviews, overseeing the placement process, and collaborating with faculty and staff to align coursework with industry demands. Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills to build and maintain relationships with students, employers, and staff Excellent Communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders and prepare clear and professional correspondence Customer Service skills to provide support to students and address any placement-related questions and issues Background in Education or familiarity with academic systems and student management Experience in Recruiting and understanding of recruitment processes in the hospitality and aviation industries Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for communication and database management is a plus
